How much would top braces cost?
I have a couple teeth on top that don't fit correctly with my other top teeth, but my bottom row is perfectly fine. My hygienist told me that fixing my teeth would correct my slight lisp, but my parents don't have any dental insurance. How much would it cost for braces just on the top teeth? Seeing as I'm only a high school student I need to scrape this money together for myself.

It really does make a difference where you go as to the cost of any dental work. I have to tell you I had to have a tooth pulled and another filled. I don't have insurance so I started looking for ways to get the best price for the work I needed so I could afford it. Well I found a discount dental plan that blew me away and I tell everyone about it because I'm so impressed with it. I had my tooth pulled and another filled and it should have cost me $403.00....Well with the discount through the plan it only cost me ...Ready for this..$177.00!! As you can see the price was more then cut in half. You can also use this plan with insurance you already have because this is not insurance. The thing about that is if you want braces, you will most likely have to get it on both just to aline your jaws. Bt if you dont, mine were 7250 for top and bottom. If you wanted just top, at least 2000. [source: Yahoo! Answers]
