Why do some peoples braces look different from others?
Why do some peoples braces look different from others? Like some have braces that make their entire teeth look like metal and others have braces that don't make your teeth look that way? so....? Or is it just that their smile is different so their braces look different?

There are many different kinds of brackets (The little dots that actually go on the teeth.), made of different materials in different colors. (White ceramic is less visible than dark metal, etc.) The person's facial features do have a lot to do with it, too.

There's also gold braces, which are mainly to add individuality and style. Then there's ceramic braces. The ceramic is "the color of your tooth", so they can't be seen easily from a distance or in pictures, but treatment takes longer and they're slightly larger. Then everyone knows about the invisible ones, like "Invisilign" and stuff. The last type is lingual and they are probably the least noticeable.
